How You Can Donate for the Victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines?

Typhoon Yolanda left a very devastating trails. We don't know for sure how long will it take before the victims can stand on their feet again. Reliefs keep coming from different part of the world. And all Filipinos are so grateful for that.

I pray that God will continue to comfort all the victims especially those who have lost someone because of Yolanda. I also pray that help will continue to come for all victims. My prayer also goes to all the volunteers and government officials who are doing what they can to help these poor people.

Here are the links where you can send any amount you wish for the victims of typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda in the Philippines:

Philippine Red Cross
GMA Kapuso Foundation
ABS CBN Tulong
Disasters Emergency Committee

For all those who would like to help, please remember 'no amount is too small'.

  1. My children's school organized a donation event for the Philippines as well, all the donation goes to the Catholic relief fund and it will be sent over to the Philippines.

  2. I also donated to many friends who are willing to help their relatives in Leyte too. Praying that God will protect the people in Leyte and Samar.

  3. My heart breaks to see our fellow Filipinos in such state of dismay. It's agonizing to read news about how slot the government efforts to reach the far ends of the affected places. Tacloban is just ONE of the badly hit areas. I think the govt should also look ways on how to reach far-flung places that up to this time still have the basic necessities to survive. They survived Yolanda but how about their day-to-day? We're really glad for everyone's help and the international aid as well that are one of the catalysts in speeding up the rescue operations and distribution of relief aids. Let's keep praying...

  4. i agree. small ways do mean a lot. even with the magnitude of this calamity - if pinoys work together - our affected kababayans will get through the struggles.

  5. I have already posted in my FB wall the successful bake-a-sale fund raising drive we had in the office. We collected Dhs 48 thousand plus and that is more than half a million pesos! We're going to give portion of that to Sagip Kapamilya and the other portion to the staff in our company whose families were gravely affected.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Please drop a line here and do come back as I will do all my best to reply to your comments.
