As day past by, people are getting hooked in dining out. Some are skeptic in terms of what to order in a restaurant. Pretty much avoiding fried foods and too much carbohydrate. That’s totally fine but for some who don’t take time scrutinizing what to eat, it will be the start of unhealthy living.
Before you start any diet routine, you must be aware of your BMI or body mass index. You also need to consult a doctor so you’ll get the right advise on what to do.
In order for you to compute your BMI, you need to use the following formula:
BMI=weight (kg) / [height (m)]2
or BMI=weight (lb) / [height (in)]2 x 703
Here are the standard BMI ranges for adults:

Burning calories is not so hard especially when you are conscious of the food you eat and the exercises you make. Aside from eating the right food, there are exercises that can help you loose weight or maintain your normal BMI. Again, before engaging to any activity you need to consult your doctor especially when you want to sweat out extra fats. Walking, running, swimming, dancing and biking are few of the well-liked exercises by all ages.
When it comes to biking, I've read once that this is a very good good exercise when you are classified as overweight. The reason behind this is because the saddle is supporting the whole weight of your body to avoiding injuries on your ankles and knees which could be the case when you do running. If there's no park near you, you can grab on of those hitch bike racks for your car. With that you can go to the park where you can freely cycle on flat and wide paths.
Being physically active is the key to a healthy body. Whether you walk or cycle, the goal will always be the same and that is to maintain a normal weight and to keep a healthy heart.
