DOH TO CONSIDER FIREWORKS BAN

“There are more ways to be happy in welcoming the New Year. An injury in the family will not make our New Year happier,” this is the concluding statement of Secretary Ona of Department of Health (DOH).

Despite the decreased of fireworks-related injuries, Secretary Ona announced that they might consider banning the individual use of fireworks. Only accredited organizations can buy and use fireworks on designated areas.

I personally like this option. Hope it will be approved to continuously avoid injuries caused by fireworks during festive seasons.

Have a Safe New Year Everyone.
